Surf shops, surf product websites, and surf product manufacturers, among others, have retained us for various legal issues, including: counseling regarding the best legal form for their new business ventures, registration of trademarks, and the draft and negotiation of their E-commerce contracts. Recently, Surf World Network, Inc., a California corporation that runs a website for surf related news, videos, and shows, retained us to draft and negotiate the terms of their E-commerce contracts. Previously, we counseled Malibu Surf Shack, a surf shop in Malibu, California, concerning the contents of their employee and subcontractor agreements.
